Common frog relocation

I collected some spawn from a nearby stream and I have been raising the tadpoles they have grown all their legs but still have a tail, I have to let them go soon but I dont think the stream I got them is a good place to release them. I know a place where their is a good population of frog and toads but I dont know If I should release them their because of the diseases that can be spread what should I do? cam anyone help please?

Either make this an opporunity to build a pond in your garden, or take them back to where you found them.

You are right about worrying about spreading disease. If they are carrying anything, the last thing you should do is add them to a different frog population.

Why don't you think that where you found them is a good place? It is obviously good enough to support frogs already otherwise you wouldn't have found spawn.

Thanks for the advice i'm going to release them in the stream where I got them.
