| | | strange findings hi everyone!
i was out walking thismorning and was on a overgrown path, kind of a meadow and i come across a dumped saucepan i 1st walked past it and as a butterfly passed and landed next to it i noticed there was a tadpole inside the saucepan which was tilted and was holding about 2inches of water i then noticed that there was 2 tadpoles inside i 1st thought someone had been collecting tadpole from a pond at the golfcourse and dumped them this was about 500m away but the pan had spiderwebs and looked like it had been there awhile, could it be a frog spawned in the pan that had collected rain water and if so why was there only 2 tadpoles in it? the tadpoles look heathy but very small for this time of year. at what stage should they be at at the moment, i live in london.
thanks |

| | | Re: strange findings If there aren't any ponds at spawning time, they will use puddles or other unlikely containers.
Or an animal has been eating spawn then had a drink in the pan and left some spawn.
Possibly. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
