They're now all back at Hurst pond which is where I collected the spawn from. I hope they'll be okay - it's a tough world out there!
A couple of the newt larvae have emerged from the water too so they definitely qualify as efts now...
I still can't be certain of species but I think that palmate is the most likely.
Well that about wraps it up for this year. I might try for marsh frogs next year.
