Frogs spawning in scotland

im central scotland and have no signs of frogs at all. no experience as yet with frogs or spawn. when can i expect the frogs to spawn?

It will be dependent on your local weather conditions, particularly temperature. I'm in the London suburbs + have seen up to a dozen frogs so far over the last few days, but no spawn yet.

Being much farther north you maybe 3 or more weeks later. A mild wet evening is usually the perfect stimulus for frogs to visit their breeding ponds.

just been around the oban area, and the water temp is still very low, the rock pools were freezing over at night,

central Scotland was deep in snow on the route i took and so rivers were covered in ice, so it will be a while yet for some parts of the north before the water temp rises enough
