I have 2 tadpoles in my wildlife pond, one is black and the other is pictured. I have been told it is a neotenous tadpole but wondered if anyone knows what species of creature it is?  |

Probably from a Common Frog.

Yes looks like a common frog. This is likely to emerge this spring. |
