Herpetofauna workers manual where are you?

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum and the UK! Any ideas about where I can get hold of the Herpetofauna Workers Manual? It seems like it's being revised and I can't order the old one from the usual suspects.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

by the usual suspects i assume you mean The Herpetological Conservation Trust and ARG UK - Amphibian and Reptile Groups of United Kingdom

if you've had no luck with them try RAUK e-Forum as a number of herpetologists frequent the forums. this is a bit more of a long shot but they may also be able to help National Amphibian and Reptile Recording Scheme

failing all of the above you could google some ecological consultants that specialise in herps to see where they got theirs assuming they have them.

Apparently you can order a copy from W H Smiths: Herpetofauna Worker's Manual Tony Gent | WHSmith.co.uk

Though I'd check just to make sure.

Sorry to disappoint- out of print with no publishing date due.
They will take your money, but after a while you will get a letter saying not available. (I ordered from Waterstones)
I have been hunting high and low too!
None second hand on the internet either.
