| | Re: Frogs and frogspawn Thanks for sharing the lovely pics Babs. Yes, they soon change. I think they progress quicker when it's warmer too. Keep the pics coming....Posie.. |

| | | Re: Frogs and frogspawn A snail shell in my tank seems to be a magnet for my taddies - they appear to be feeding on the shell. I cant work out if its the algae that may be on the surface or the shell itself they are feeding on. Im thinking it could be the minerals in the shell which may provide some essential nutrients?
They also like swimming in and out of it so Ive chucked a few more in! |

| | | Re: Frogs and frogspawn Yaaaay, have got spawn! Trying to repair my pond this weekend which I had to half drain & I found a load on a plant. It was half out of the water (but still damp). I quickly transferred it to my wildlife pond to keep hungry koi away from it. Hope it'll be OK. Couldn't tell if frog or toad as it was flattened but each bit didn't seem very big. Maybe toad. Was up to my armpit in sealant & mud so couldn't get a picture will try tonight.
Am so happy tho, thought Koi had eaten it all.

| | | Re: Frogs and frogspawn Thats a bonus J. I wonder which it is, I haven't seen any toads here, but there may be some. See if you can post some pics later, as you said. |

| | | Re: Frogs and frogspawn Hello, I have had my pond for around a year and a half now, but have no spawn. There are very few shallows in my pond which is around 1 by 1 meters, does this mean i'll never get spawn this year? Any help would be much appreciated. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
