Fairly warm at the mo with the rain & yes, its around now we usually get it. I know someone else found some here a few weeks ago when it was just above freezing. |

Found some frog spawn on 23 02 10,here in Todmorden,West Yorks.Spring is round the corner,regards Bri. |

Ist spawn last year was on 02 03 09,so its a bit earlier, i would have thought it might be later this year after recent weather,although above freezing now for a few days in succession as no doubt helped.regards Bri. |

No spawn....and no sign of life other than the pond snails so far....this is my ponds first 'spring' though...but it was crawling with frogs and toads within days of building it last year....it has only recently defrosted for longer than a day at a time though.

Much frog activity this morning in our garden pond, for the first time this season. Don't know about spawn yet - will check this afternoon. |

Quite a lot of activity recently but no spawn as yet
