| | | Yellow toads Has anyone else got a yellow toad? I've always thought that they varied in colour, and our 2 yellow ones (there is also a brown one) were at the lighter end of the scale, but looking at pictures from RAUK, the toads look distinctly buff coloured. One is our 'house toad', which lives in a drystone wall by the back door, but is rarely seen. It's been there for about 12 years that we know of, but I have no idea of its age. |

| | | Re: Yellow toads That's interesting, I'm not sure if our toads are only yellow during mating, as we hear rather than see them. Will be on the lookout in the future! |

| | | Re: Yellow toads I've seen very buff/yellowish coloured toads where I used to work on the Lincolnshire coast. Apparently though, this colour form is not unheard of in sandy areas, evolved as camoflage against the light coloured background. |
