| | Snake Bite I think I have been bitten by a Grass Snake?
I had been brush cutting and picked up a small bundle of Bramble . As I drew the bundle toward me ,something lunged at my arm.Between the glove and the wrist .I have two puncture marks about an inch apart, bleeding slightly not too bad.
I feel fine except shaken! Grass Snake??? |

| | | Re: Snake Bite Of all the Grass Snakes I've ever picked up, I've never been bitten but that's to say they don't because someone probably will have been.
If you couldn't identify the biter, I would get myself to the quacks or casualty quickly as it might have been an Adder.
It's over two hours since you posted, are you still OK? |

I dropped the bramble very quickly and did not spot the biter! |

| | | Re: Snake Bite What kind of habitat do you live near ? Think you'd feel a little ill by now if it was an adder so hopefully just a grassy nip for you or just an adder warning bite maybe. Glad you'r okay tho
