| |  Snake Bite
I think I have been bitten by a Grass Snake?
I had been brush cutting and picked up a small bundle of Bramble . As I drew the bundle toward me ,something lunged at my arm.Between the glove and the wrist .I have two puncture marks about an inch apart,bleeding slightly not too bad.
I feel fine except shaken!  Grass Snake??? |

Of all the Grass Snakes I've ever picked up, I've never been bitten but that's to say they don't because someone probably will have been.
If you couldn't identify the biter, I would get myself to the quacks or casualty quickly as it might have been an Adder.
It's over two hours since you posted, are you still OK? |

Bite marks an inch apart? Probably gone to A&E. If I was not sure that's what I'd do

I dropped the bramble very quickly and did not spot the biter! |

What kind of habitat do you live near ? Think you'd feel a little ill by now if it was an adder so hopefully just a grassy nip for you or just an adder warning bite maybe. Glad you'r okay tho
