| | | Snake ID please Smooth??? This lovely creature was slithering along outside the window & I managed to grab the camera & get out there before it vanished!It was trying to get up the wall to get away from me.
Is this a smooth snake?I strangly enough had a newsletter from the RS:PB today about them...which has really spooked me if it is one of those....din't realise they were so big!!!
It was slightly greener than the adders I spotted a while ago not far from the same spot in our garden!
If it is one do I have to report a sighting as I think they are quite rare!?

the collar is pretty faint but its def a grass snake. great find anyway!

Really excited cos I've never seen one of these before,are they rare?

But they are very hard to find as they hear you coming from a long way off and usually disappear before you ever get the chance to see them. Well spotted!
