Just happen to come across this post. I have quite a lot of slugs in my garden but also a very small pond with frogs in, would it be worth me leaving a small pile of grated carrot near the pond as to make some easy meals for the frogs aswell as attracting snails away from other plants. Would this be prone to rats? |

Just came back from hols and found 4 dead adult frogs in my pond. No slug pellets used anywhere. We do have interested cats!
Previous population very healthy. First year froglets seem fine. We do have fish in the pond but to date it has never been a problem. Have you got any answers yet ? |

| | | Re: Dead frogs Andrew Cunningham and colleagues at Zoo Soc London (ZSL) are interested in causes of frog mortality in UK. You can find out how to contact them at the Froglife site. Snufflz did this (another thread), sent her frozen frog in and received a diagnosis. Don't just post off a dead frog to them though, do talk to them first.
