screaming frog

As a teenager, I was never phased by frogs as we had tons in our back garden pond. Once at school, everyone was screaming about this frog that had hopped into the forecourt from the nearby lake, so I just nonchalantly picked it up in both my hands to take it to the lake for its own safety (we all know how cruel some kids can be). This was my first (and only come to think of it!) experience of a frog scream!

I picked up a frog once, being terrorised by the cat, and put it by my face to get a better look, and see if it was wounded. It then proceeded to scream in my ear.

my neighbours frequently find my frogs mutilated or being torn to shreds by cats, I tend to shoo them away from the pond if i see them as they are facinated by frogs. Never ever heard one scream tho, hope i don't either
