| | | No development of tadpoles Ive had my pond for many years and get large frog populations. This year ,as usuall there was several kilos of spawn which turned to tadpoles by about march. The tads never grew , I kept finding dead ones , then handfulls of dead ones. Not one grew legs and matured. The water quality was good, and lots of damsels appeared as usuall. Is there some disease that does this? I dont have fish. |

| | | Re: No development of tadpoles Its very odd Martin have you been in touch with froglife. Is there any possibility your pond could have been contaminated with anything has any other creatures been affected other than tadpoles and frogs. |
