Herpvet makes a good point in that it may just improve your frogs’ survival rate, and (assuming there is not an in-pond treatment?) if the stress of capture, transport and treatment (herpesviruses thrive on stress) does not militate against survival, and your frogs are still dying, then it may be worth considering. More advice from the Cunningham crew at ZSL required perhaps?

I had thought there was nothing at all that I can do. I have a couple of frogs showing the first signs of ulcers and one who is in a very bad way but who keeps hanging on.
I will mail Katie at the Institute and also ring around local vets although I don't think much can be done for this little chap.
