Smooth snake at Thursley?
Whilst at Thursley Common last week my daughters saw a snake cross the path in front of them. I thought it would have been an adder but they both picked the smooth snake when I showed them photos. Could this be possible?

We did see a grass snake on the same day, and they are both adamant that it looked totally different

smooth snakes are present at thursley so it is entirely possible.
