| | | snakes in wales I have tomorrow off work......yaaaayyy !!! Decided to womble off either on a major flower photography womble or to try and get some grassnake/adder lizard pics. Anyone know any really good places for reptiles, pref snakes near mid glam ? Tho am lone female so nothing too off the beaten track.

| | | Re: snakes in wales Hi galanthus. Only place i know where you have a chance of seeing Adder and Grass snake is the Caerphilly mountain area.

Good luck! | Hmmmm Afan valley came up on google as good for snakes, may give that a go on the weekend, after all, your red kite site was a fab one

A hot day in the Afan Valley is probably your best bet for seeing both species of snake. Any area of dry heathland there on a warm day would be promising. The place I had to relocate the grass snake from was on a track near the minewater treatment system in Tonmawr.
