I love cats, I love slow worms. Maybe I am lucky, but I still have both in my garden.

(I also like corvids very much, and have those too.)

You could phone up the local planning dept or go in and ask to see the plans. Ask them if they did any surveys for reptiles and if there is any mitigation required.

I can see i opened up a can of worms so to speak lol!! I have been out in the fields next to the ones they are digging up and found nothing but i do have a dog and two wee boys under 5 with me, if i saw me and heard my brood coming i would duck for conver too!!

I do like cats although after being on a lot of forums mainly this one i am going off them a bit!!

Beekeeper i don't mind anyone jumping in on my posts at all, i find it very interesting in fact

Dampflippers i have a long list of things to get onto council about regards to litter on these fields and paths leading up to the bulldozers so thanks for making me realise i can get onto them, i did wonder if any reports had been completed before digging i doubt it though. I love making the council work for their money

Kiwi i'm sorry i have stirred up such emotion, i do know how you feel though, each time i look at the bulldozers working i get angry but, i don't really get much time to think about it now i have kids, i don't have time for anything now to be honest!!! I do my bit though and i'm content with that as i can be.

Thanks again guys for your replies i am going to get onto the council to see if any surveys were completed. I will of course let you know what they say.
