| | | Anyone from Gloucester? Hi there,
I'm a 28 year old female who is hoping to find some reptile lovers in the Gloucester area,I really want to see Common Lizards in the wild but I'm not sure how to find them.I was hoping to hang out with someone near me who knows how to find them and could show me?.
Thank you

| | | Re: Anyone from Gloucester? Good luck lizardhunting. The last place I saw any was in the quarry part of the country park at the top of Crickley Hill, a few years ago. There are plenty of open, sunny places in the F-0-D; perhaps the centre at Beechenhurst could help?
We did have slow-worms in the garden until the council piped in the stream and filled the banks in. They are fascinating. Have to be content with my frogs now. |

I asked my boyfriend about the places you mentioned, but he has no idea!,typical lol.
Well we do know a neighbour quite near us gets lots of slowworm lizards, because he has a compost heap, its only slowworms he gets.
I'm sorry to hear your slowworms were disturbed, that's so sad,I hope you see more again,do you have a compost heap?,I don't know if I have room for one,but they are great for attracting slowworms.
Thanks for wishing me luck,I know it won't be easy, but its so worth it to me*
I'm hoping to attract frogs too!,in the middle of making a pond.
Thanks again for all your help and advice* | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
