| | Woohooo! Frog! I was just taking out some newly planted pots to the patio when I heard a PLOP! from the pond. I have my first frog!
I rescued some frog spawn,(I know I shouldn't move it but it was going to be killed,) earlier this year but the tadpoles that hatched all seem to have been eaten by the newts etc and this is a fully grown frog.
Between this and the newly hatched damselfly larvae I saw a couple of days ago I am a very happy Weirdwolf. |

| | | Re: Woohooo! Frog! Thank you, I hope it sticks around.
I'm rather surprised to see it, nobody locally has a pond and although my garden is shady it's a warm day with little cloud cover and the ground is parched. I know it wasn't there earlier and it seems a little strange for an amphibian to be wandering around in those conditions. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
