| | | Grass Snake I came across this beauty whilst doing some gardening yesterday.
What a great little poser, though I think it was trying to tell me something in the 3rd shot!

| | | Re: Grass Snake Great pictures of the grass snake. I'm wondering why when I click on the picture thumbnails, I get a message saying I "don't have permission to view the images in this category."
It's very frustrating. Hope someone can help so I can see how good these pictures are. |

Great pictures, I find Grass Snake much harder to photograph than Adders but both are incredibly beautiful and such a challenge.

All I can suggest is that you send StuDH (Administrator) or one of the Mods (eg. GLSammy) a pm seeking assistance - they're always very good.
Thanks for the comment and a belated welcome to WAB by the way Quote:

| | | Re: Grass Snake Jeff nice photos of GS
Most times I’ve seen GS They always seem to be shy of the camera, even one I saw close up last week while filming adders mating, he hid behind a big old log in a bramble bush. Anyway here is a photo of a Female Adder.
Chris H……Generally one reason if you get this message-
You do not have permission to view the images in this category.
On many forum sites the reason is because you may not be Logged in.

| | | Re: Grass Snake Thanks for your replies, I managed to see the enlarged pics by actually logging out. How weird is that?
By the way, if anyone in Kent knows of a grass snake I could come over and film, I'd be most grateful. I am currently working on a two hour film on the wildlife and landscape of Britain butthe grassy is soooo elusive.
I've managed to track down adders and slow worms in their natural environment a few times now but despite many patient hours, I just can't get near a grass snake.
I made a post last year about this, see the link below. Grass snakes to film | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
