Natrix natrix in West Cornwall??

I was just wondering if anyone on here had ever seen a Grass Snake in West Cornwall? Ive looked in many places i thought were suitable, but no luck. Adders everywhere though!
I don't want or need a specific site, just confirmation that they are here!

Hi there,

Grass snakes are widespread in southern england and I'm sure they occur in west cornwall.

The BTO actually provide some of the best survey info for grass snakes as incidental recordings in their 'big garden birdwatch', as grassies will often visit gardens, particularly those with ponds, and particularly in rural areas.

I'm having trouble posting the link but if you type 'BTO grass snake map' into google it should be first on the list.
