| | | Toad Diet ASAP Evening All,
Have a slight problem, I have been handed a female Toad which has been on the wrong end of my neighbours cat. It has a few bumps and grazes but seems to be coping ok. I have got it housed in an old fish tank just for the night and plan to release it tomorrow. I have filled the bottom with about half inch of water and put in a rock and a lump of lawn turf I had ready to relay the lawn tomoz! What should I put in as food, I have live meal worms for my pet birds, would this suffice? And is there anything else I should put in or take out.
Cheers Jake |

According to an internet source (no clue on reliability I'm afraid); Quote: |
"Toads usually eat insects, bugs, grubs, worms, slugs and many other such invertebrates."
| I'm sure someone will be along to either confirm or quash my findings.

| | | Re: Toad Diet ASAP Thanks Jake,
I love your blog, it's bookmarked and I'll have a more thorough look when I had the time. I'm jealous that you have the time to write that, it's such a lovely format combined with the images. You've done a fine job there, and good to see someone enjoying the benefits of wild fungi!

| | | Re: Toad Diet ASAP I wouldn't worry too much about your toad, they have quite a slow metabolism and will cope just fine overnight without food. |
