| | | Frog or toad I must say I am not much good at IDing things but I am lead to believe that these are toads.
Found in a damp garage the first one is quite a bit larger than the second one which makes me think they are male/female respectively.
I found another one hibernating under a leaf pile in the garden during the winter which was a lot greener and still had the rough lumps on it's back. Would this have something to do with living inside and outside or could the one in the garden have been a frog.

Is it common for frogs and toads to live together as these were almost touching each other when I found them. I just moved one small item and they were both behind it but when I went back an hour later there was one at one side of the garage and one at the other.

| | | Re: Frog or toad it's not that unusual to find them together. having said that, frogs tend to hang around water and damp areas all year round whereas toads are much more terrestial and can tolerate much drier conditions.
