It was basking in the sunshine on a pathway as we walked through Logan Botanical Gardens in Scotland about 5 years ago.......the image is a bit blurred as it took off as soon as it became aware of us. |

| | | Re: Slow Worm? We've got an open fronted porch on the house and it had found it's way in there. It was early in the morning and I assume it hadn't warmed up as it was really torpid and just let me take pictures.  Like you say, normal view is just a flash of them disappearing into the undergrowth.
