| | | Re: Unusual Lizard Brill, 100% its from the family ameiva, there are 100's of subspecies in the family so give me a while to have a cuppa t and a snoop and ill pin it down for you, there are too many common names in this family to list but heres a good link for you with pics of a few members of the ameiva family to look at, Ameiva Pictures
All male ameiva's go through fantastic colour changes depending on the season (mating season being brighter) so you will find quite a wide variation in colour and pattern even within the same subspeices, so the pics are a generalisation, very pretty lizards.
