| | RAUK forum sorry to mention a 'rival' forum, but are there any members of RAUK here? The forum seems to have been down for some time, and I emailed the general enquiry address a couple of weeks ago, with no reply. I know the forum is only run by one or two people, and am conserned that they are ok.
any news welcome. |

| | It looks as though the rest of their site is still up, just the forums closed for maintenance.
Don't worry about mentioning RAUK here, they're certainly not considered to be a rival in our eyes. Any non-commercial wildlife forum is fully supported by us, as Wild About Britain is all about promoting British wildlife organisations, not competing with them.
In fact, if they need a hand getting their forum back up and running and want to know more about our system, then we'll be more than happy to help where we can

| | | Unfortunatly the forums have been 'closed for maintanance' for a couple of months I think. I know The Vicar from RAUK has posted here before, if you see this Vicar, any news? |

| | | Re: RAUK forum I got an email from Gemma today to say that she's currently working on putting the RAUK forum back again, just as soon as she can juggle a bit of time between work commitments - I know how she feels
Hopefully it should be back up and running again before long. |

| | Re: RAUK forum RAUK went down suddenly after a few postings from some very un-herpetological types started. It may have been the last straw as Gemma & Mervyn had been struggling valiantly to keep it going financially. I also emailed Gemma but got no reply, so was fearing the worst for Gemma & Mervyn. The rest of the site is up but content does not seem to have changed for some time.
I hope they get back soon RAUK had a loyal following.
Gemma if you see this drop your freinds an email, we would like to know how you are. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
