| | Wish I'd took my camera!! Hi Folks,
I'm always dawdling along when we go for a walk, watching spiders spin their webs, or taking pics of beetles on the ground, and my missus keeps tutting and such, so I promised her that I would leave the camera at home this time and we could concentrate on a brisk walk,
So we went to Fowlmead and went up by the lake , stopped to watch a flock of Long tailed tits go through the tops of the hawthorns feeding,
Then she said to me " have a look under the tin sheet then!" so I did
Blow me!! under the tin was a beautiful Adder curled up, (and me with no camera) I put the tin down and asked my wife if she had her phone with her ,
Got the phone ready she lifted the tin and I got two pics then put the tin sheet back down, I was realy disapointed with the Pics and try as I might to doctor them on the PC I ended up scrapping them,
No more going on walks WITHOUT the CAMERA

| | | Re: Wish I'd took my camera!! What a shame. I've done it so many times myself though. Now at least you know there are Adders in the area. Chances are next Spring they'll be out basking and if you look for them you may have some luck.

Hope you get a picture now you know where they are. |
