| | Re: Tortoises yes, I have 2 adult mediterranean spur thighs (brother and sister) and 3 female juvinilles. One of which is 3 years old that has stumped groath due to it being the product of a brother and sister mating. It has an uneven amount of scutes down one side giving the shell a lop sided appearance. It was given to me free by a breeder as he would never be able to sell her, she is doing well but just not growing. At present she is about 7 centimeters long. |

presumably he is a very philosophical tortoise .... | He comes when I whistle him now. All my friends, who have adopted him, love him and he has a fantastic big back garden to play in but he needs a mate so I might have to get him involved.

When you say he comes when you whistle him - how do you know he didnt set off sometime before or are tortoise not really that slow.

| | | Re: Tortoises I wanted a tortoise when I was younger - we had one at school until the school bully killed it with a hammer - I then broke his nose (the bully not the tortoise) and got a week of dets - but it was worth it.
