| | | Re: first time froglets Found a few of mine under wood chipping/pulp in one of the borders from last year, decent-ish size now but not yet fully grown. Yep wld scour lawn beforehand and then run around quickly with mower then if you can't stand the long grass. I don't mind it myself for a few weeks. Good luck

| | | Re: first time froglets I would advise you dont cut the lawn for another week at least. But if you have to perhaps you could raise the blade if your lawn mower has this feature so it wont totally crop the grass to low. |

| | | Re: first time froglets I have mowed the lawn after meticulously checking it. There are a lot of them in the pond still and they have grown slightly and developed froggy patterns compared to the first few out were very dark brown with long tails and tiny. I have been moving a few to the shady flowerbeds ( hope they get to work on the aphids!) and still see them hopping around there.
All in all I think this has been successful. The patio area is large and there are pots on the way to the beds but none of them are trailing.
Thanks for all the advice! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
