Hi thesmiths, very interesting thread
A couple of thoughts. First, you could try posting to the forum here RAUK e-Forum for further advice or local contacts.
Second, I don't know anything about underfloor heating systems, but is there not some sort of ventilation duct leading outside? If there is, I imagine the snake will find it eventually.
