| | | Baby Newt? There were lots of these running across the path today when we were walking in Otmoor. Thought they were probably baby newts, does anyone know and if they are, are they Smooth Newts? Hope picking them up doesn't distress them too much.

| | | Re: Baby Newt? Yes its a young newt, as the others have said it looks like a Smooth Newt, you would need closer shots of the face for 100% ID.
