| | | 2 epileptic tadpoles? I have seen only 2 (thankfully) taddies both with a swelling on their sides, both look to have deformed back legs (none have front legs yet), swim on their sides and frantically swim in very tight circles to the bottom of the pond. Then lie on their sides
My query is are they just deformed or have they parasitised? And if its the latter does anyone know what by? |

| | | Re: 2 epileptic tadpoles? what's the water quality like? I don't know about tadpoles but fish get swim bladder problems if there is a problem with the water. You can take a sample to an aquatic centre and they will test it for you.. |

| | | Re: 2 epileptic tadpoles? The water seems fine I think, the rest of the tads are very well, developing legs and being normal. The daphne is thriving as is Damsel fly larvae, beetles, snails and the resident frog population.
The 2 in question have swellings on one side, seems strange.
I will check out if there is an aquatic centre near me, thanks Kayleigh | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
