Is this a Smooth Newt. It was found behind my dust bin. So she is now safe in the pond.    |

Very hard to say for sure, but id personally go for Smooth Newt you can just about see a grove infront of the eye. Its likely it may come back out of your pond after breeding they spend a great deal of time on land.
