Unidentified amphibian
[ATTACH] [/ATTACH]Can anyone tell me what this little creature is? It was found in a well rotted dung heap near Lampeter in Wales and it can't find a likeness in any of the books I've got.

I think it's a smooth newt, but I'm not 'up' on my amphibians.

Yes I would say Common newt-Triturus vulgaris. Great aren't they.
