I'm pretty sure this is just a common toad, but I'd like some confirmation please.
Found on a friends front door step the other day in Corfe Mullen, Dorset.
I had heard that they changed colour to suit the earth/stone they were living on... but PINK!   |

Its a common frog! The females occasionally go a pinkish colour during breeding season. |

Oh well....wrong again. I was sure it was a toad. I thought it was too "lumpy" for a frog. Great colour though...

Its very sweet, did it change colour with a bit of time? We found an almost white toad in some wood chip we collected for the garden. It was rotting and quite warm.
After 10 to 15 minutes in the garden it changed back to normal brown colour when its temp dropped  | | | |
