| | | Sammy the grass snake is back!! It was me who started the thread last year "What to do about grass snake taken up residence by our pond..."
Well, just wanted to let you know Sammy's back!!! Last weekend (just before the snows) we looked out to see Sammy slither from his lair and launch into the pond looking for some lunch. S/he is thinner than last year (not surprising given the long winter), but definitely appears the same snake.
I caught a quick snap for your interest (ignore the plastic pipe.. we're in the middle of installing a new pump for the pond.) |
