| | | toads in February? I just found a toad on a well used concrete walkway. There didn't seem anywhere obviously safe and warm to put it so I removed him and placed him under some tarparlin with some dry leaves to hide under. Was this the correct thing to do. Have I moved him away from him hybernation place. I was worried he would get stepped on in the dark. Also is it normal for toads to out so early in the year |

| | | Re: toads in February? Yes its common to find toads this time of year they are starting to increase their activity and will be moving towards breeding ponds. |

| | | Re: toads in February? I used to do toad rescue with friends a while back  They always start moving in February - just as the warm wet weather starts.
