The area i live in has nothing but frogs, toads and newts.
Id love to see snakes in the UK. |

i'm sure you've already done this but if you go to the Gallery on this forum then go the the amphib and reptile Gallery there are 449 pictures of our native herps to look at. that should keep you going for a bit!

if anyone has ever herd of it.
I live in a large village about 30 minutes away from coventry, our village is rather large, with only 2 field areas one of which is classed as a Wildlife Nature Reserve, apparently there use to be snakes, and the odd lizard but they disappeared years before i was born.
I find that hard to believe, however id love to see them around here.
