| | | Adder and Common Lizards Whilst walking in some woods near Fareham i spotted an Adder and some Common Lizards.
As fortune would have it i had my camera with me.
There was something under the Adder that looks like a Slow Worm but I'm no snake / reptile expert. Adder Common Lizard Common Lizards

| | | Re: Adder and Common Lizards Great shots. Your Adder looks like a female and I can just about see something underneath it. It could be a Slow worm or even a juvenile Adder. They're lovely though, it's always great to see them. |

| | Re: Adder and Common Lizards Nice photos. Does anyone out there know of any means of catching lizards, for photography!, in the same way that you can humanely catch small mamals using the longworth trap.
I believe there is a colony in Maryport, cumbria and possibly where i work.
Any ideas? |

Mark | I only know of this one site quite by mistake.
A friend and I were out trying to get some wildlife pics when we bumped into some like minded people... They pointed us in the right direction...
We went back on a nice sunny afternoon and first time lucky we saw the Adders and Lizards.
I class myself as being lucky as some of these sites are best kept secrets for obvious reasons..
