Obviously I do not know the ins and outs of the housing associations descision but have you tried to get a stay of execution,in the current economic climate, a plea may be all they need not to spend the money

| | | Re: slow worms thanks for the the replies.... i have lived here for 10 years and so much wildlife than i thought imaginable ...be such a shame for it to just be bulldozed..... i will look up the local wildlife trust..... geanie |

I've just read your post and I'm so sorry, you must be devestated! To have enjoyed all of the wildlife that you have in your garden and then to be told that you are to lose it all is just awful. I wish I could think of something to say that could help, but I can't. I just feel so sad about what's happened to you.

im in clacton and ive got slow worms i rescued cos thier building on the site now .im releasing them in the summer wen the weathers warmer .ive 5 and in a large container with dirt rocks ne water with growing plants .must admit thay eat well .if you have a green house in your garden look in thier you might find some as my partner has them liveing with his tomatoes lol also hedge hogs roaming in the garden their lovely to watch .ill miss the slow worms wen i release then next year but their better off free .so their going to go in the green house with the others once weathers warm |  | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
