As it happens whilst you've been slaving away at work I've been hard at it yet again and have done this today....
My back has now siezed up and my tennis elbow is giving me jip (gawd I'm getting old ) - but hey, it's a good job! There's still too many gaps for my liking, so will be on the hunt for some more plants asap lol! Heard a froggie close by whilst I was digging, but despite searching I couldn't find the elusive croaker. Also had a beautiful green hawker dragonfly doing a few circuits - wish it had landed so I could have taken it's piccy! |

| | | Re: Common Garden Frogs? Looks like my wildlife pond has yet another new visitor - another froggie late last night! It was sat on the stones surveying the surroundings (it's probably confused poor croaker as I keep changing things each day - it's wondering 'where it is' each time it comes out of the water lol! )
What a porker!
I thought it was the same one that was sat on my back step the other night (I nearly trod on it ) but it's not as spotty as this chappie and it doesn't have an inverted 'V' on it's back see...
Still, they both look happy and fat eh!
Also spied a juvenile goldfinch having a drink from the pond this morning on the poles, and then a couple of sparrows on the wetland also having a drink. Also the Hawker dragonfly has been back today for around 20 mins, just circling the garden and pond. It's practially all a beautiful emerald green with just the last couple of segments blue - is it a Southern do you think? It didn't settle so I didn't get a piccy |

| | Re: Common Garden Frogs? Hi, apologies for interrupting. I have been looking for pics of frogs. Cazzie suggested looking at her Gallery but, although I did eventually find her profile, I can't seem to find these elusive froggies.
Can someone help an old fool, please? |
