British Frogs

All the British frogs are in my garden. We seem to have been invaded by lots of very small (10-15 mm head to tail) frogs. We live in Yorkshire and our garden backs onto a river. Currently we're not mowing the lawn in case we mistakenly run over any frogs.

Can anyone help in identifying these tiny frogs?

They sound like recently emerged common frogs or froglets as these small young versions are often called. Its common to have a 'swarm' of them if most the tadpoles develop into frogs around the same time

Thanks. Any advice on trying to move them into another area of the garden, or should I just leave the lawn until they natuarally move on?

Would be almost impossible to catch them all, best to leave it a wile so they can disperse abit into the surrounding area.
