| | | Re: saw my first snake congratulations phil...just adders to go and you've got all four widespread sps. we've managed the same three so far this year. if you're feeling confident we can stick a fiver each in the pot and the first one to get all four wins.
a big hello to everyone, especially those familar friends from RAUK...Gemma if you're out there and feeling over-worked and under-valued we're sorry. PLEASE come back! things are getting pretty desperate. i've already started watching big brother, next it'll be talking to my family...eek!
the exodus has started in staffordshire. thousands of toadlets venturing out into the big wide world at the start of the next phase of their perilous journey to adulthood. good luck to 'em...they'll need it!
have some pics from a local staffordshire wildlife trust nature reserve that i was hoping to upload to keep us going...the kids with smooth newts, palmate newts, a common toad and a couple of common lizards (saw 12 today). oh...and a picture of my six-year-old son alonso (who claims to be vegetarian) eating squid tentacles! unfortunately, having tried to upload them, i'm finding it more trouble than it's probably worth.
happy herping everyone, and good luck in anglesey, phil.
