| | | Newts I sometimes gently examine the odd pieces of wood and log piles that I have in the garden (I put them under shrubs so they are less obtrusive) but there are no newts about I generally find one or two could it be that the couple of mild days that started the frogs off also lured the newts off looking for mates?
