| | Common Lizard's Mating & White/Black Adder Hi All,
Was out walking near RAF Valley couple of days ago and saw this http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ga...age-31273.html First I thought that one Lizard had a rather large appetite, but then I noticed that they were rather more intermate.
Is it common for lizards to mate in such open areas - this was on the sand dune path. Don't they worry about birds?
Secondly whilst on the same walk I saw an adder, nothing special. But this one was almost white and black - don't know who was more shocked to see each other, because before I could get my camera from my waist up, he had shot off at a great speed. Any idea why it was white/black? I thought they were brown/black .
Cheers

Steve | The black and white adder is probably a male, I saw alot of these males in North Wales recently. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
