Right, I am an insect with the exact same name as a bird. What am I?

Re: guess who

It's not Waxwings is it?

That does the bird bit. I have a vague feeling waxwings might also be an insect ...but I can't find anything to back that up..

I have never heard of an insect with that name. Mind you, even if there is it isn't the right answer.

The name would be just the name of a bird and nothing else so in the instance of a Peacock Butterfly the name of the insect would only be Peacock - no butterfly at the end of it.

Re: guess who

Eh???
John...what rules are you playing by then???
Tiggrx said that answer at 7.13 am THIS MORNING and you answered straight after to say they were wrong!!
I hope you realise I have spent valuable hours looking for this answer when I could have been practising my photography skills or shopping or something!!
Humph!!
(I've just looked again and realised you could have both been posting at the same time....hmmm ....that could explain it all!)

Sorry you are correct. You are also correct when you say we posted the same time. I didn't see Tiggrx's answer so obviously they are right. Sorry Gill, you were just beaten to it.

I have only just got back from work and have only just seen this. sorry for the delay.

Over to you Tigrrrx. What's the next one?
