My version of PSP is not recognising my Canon RAW files.
Can anyone please suggest a good PP program that is not going to break the bank, or PM me and offer to send me a snide copy by post, for the chance to get well and truly mullered at my expense at one of the forthcoming meets

I quite often use the Digital Photo Professional programme that comes with Canon cameras to convert and process RAW files it allows quite a lot of adjustments and once saved as TIFFs or JPEGs then I assume Paint Shop Pro should work on them. I use Photoshop Elements to work on the converted files or use the RAW converter within Elements - I think it's version 8 now and comes in at about £75.

I have CS4 for a PC that's only been used once - it still has two installations to go.
It's CS4 extended, student version and now we've just got the new 21.5" imacs is no use to me.
I haven't a clue about how you'd go about re-registering but I have the keys etc. It's just about the bees knees for processing RAW and we're still using the MAC version.

Does it require to register via the internet as my PC will never be connected to the internet as it is a dedicated photoprocessing system?

I think the DNG Converter will not work with PSP. I haven't needed it thus far so I am unsure.

Ah. This DNG converter will only work with CS3/4.
What camera are you using?
