| | | Chrissy Prezzies Hi all,
I just wondered what new photographic equipment santa gave to you this
Christmas and what you think of it ?
Hope everyone was good and got what they wanted.
Happy New year to all

| | | Re: Chrissy Prezzies I got an adapter for my XL1S camcorder so that it can now use FD Canon lenses (with fantastic zoom capabilities), and a Remote which allows me to zoom and start/stop record from my tripod handle.
I already know that both are going to make an enormous difference this year. They were the two things that were really bugging me about the camera (before I couldn't make use of old Canon SLR lenses and didn't have enough hands to turn record on, focus and move the camera).
Now all that is solved. Can't wait to really try it out. Thank you Santa!
Jane

| | | Re: Chrissy Prezzies Wow....lucky you all.
I recently purchased a redsnapper tripod and am amazed at it`s solidity.....
..especially as i use a Canon 500mm IS lens.
Isn`t it great when people actually get us something that enhances our hobbies ?
Have fun all

| | | Re: Chrissy Prezzies Last summer I just walked into Tesco and had a look at what was on the shelf. Eventually purchased a Maxador; 500G for under £50. Seemed about middle of the price range and works OK if you just want a basic unit.
But I still save the best photos to CD as a 'belt & braces' back up.
ps. Somehow, I don't think Santa is going to help with my next couple of ideal purchases so it will probably be down to waiting for Ernie to get generous. | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
