I have found the gradient map and made sure black is selected but where is the gradient adjustment control and colour sliders you refer to. I cant seem to find them

| | | Re: black and white photography Try the GIMP [Gnu Image Manipulation Programme] Free download from GIMP - The GNU Image Manipulation Program knocks all the expensive photoshoppe stuff into a cocked hat and keeps you free from the clutches of M$. There is a version for Windoze. This is a green piece of software as it uses far less resources than the windows stuff.
PS if you are using Vista for image work then you need to have at least 3gb RAM as vista needs 2gb just to get up in the morning

........ | Very close - if you take the road from Settle to Horton in Ribblesdale after about a mile turn off in Langcliffe onto the road to Arncliffe (as if you were heading to Malham Tarn) and then just after the second cattle grid there's a parking place on the right and opposite a track leads to a Plantlife Reserve - Winskill. There's a small piece of Limestone Pavement with this tree growing out of it.
